Sumita Rani Saha is a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology at Noakhali Science and Technology University. She is involved in academic and research activities. Previously, she was part of a well known organization named icddr,b an international research facility from Bangladesh with a focus on food microbiology and antimicrobial resistance. The main research interest of her lab was to explore the factors that underpin the rapid emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance in both pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria. Sumita Rani Saha completed her graduate and postgraduate degrees in Microbiology at Noakhali Science and Technology University.
